I have been a Registered Nurse for 25 years. I am a Nursing Professor at Western Governor's University. I currently teach in the MSN program.

I teach Pharmacology and Pathophysiology

I earned both my Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D) in 2015 and my MSN in Nursing Education in 2008 at the University of Hartford in CT. My dissertation focused on nursing faculty members' intentional use of strategies that promote civility in the BSN classroom. I also earned my BS degree in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT and my ASN degree from St. Vincent's College of Nursing in Bridgeport, CT.

My clinical expertise is in General Medicine, Cardiac ICU, and Interventional Radiology. In 2002 I was chosen by my peers to receive the "Nightingale Award" for excellence in nursing. In 2008 I was chosen to be inducted into Sigma Theta Tau (Nursing's only Honor Society) for academic excellence.

I am also an Arbonne Independent Consultant. Being in the healthcare field it is my duty to promote health. I believe it is important to share healthy, chemical free nutrition and skin care products with everyone.
